'WOMEN'S HEALTH 101' FAIR, jan 2016
A Health Fair in Dallas dedicated to the provison of needed health screens and medical check up for uninsured and underinsured women in the Dallas area. Services will include free mammography for breast cancer screen, Pap smear for cervical screen, and blood tests to screen for diabetes and elevated choleterol, health education and general medical exam with referrals to specialists if indicated. Snacks will be provided.

SUPPORT FOR RONALD McDONALD HOUSE
in 2014, as we have done every year, the Association donated money to support the Ronald McDonald House project. This is a project to pay for the housing and feeding of family members of children with cancer. Our donations have gone every year to the Ronald McDonald house in several hospitals in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
HEART GIFT DONATION & SUPPORT
In 2014, NLAT also worked with the Heart Gift medical team at Dell Medical Center, Austin TX to arrange heart transplant surgeries for 2 Nigerian children, Favour (accompanied by her mother Lovett) and Tsoomoo who were given a new lease of life after these important surgical procedures.
DONATION FOR EBOLA CRISIS
NLAT sent over 5,000 pairs of gloves to University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria during the Ebola crisis in Nigeria. Thanks to the support of Medical Center of Arlington Texas and Onward Shipping Irving Texas.

BRYAN'S HOUSE PROJECT FUNDING
RURAL HEALTH CARE, SOUTHWEST NIGERIA:
This project was funded by the Association through an organization called Dorcas Sisters in southwestern Nigeria. This is a group of health care professionals who volunteer their time to travel to villages in the south-western part of Nigeria on a quarterly basis to provide free health screening, basic medical treatment and health education to the people in rural communities and villages.
DONATION TO HEART SURGERY RECEPIENT
Our Association provided funds for special heart surgery to be performed on a 5 year old Nigerian female named Confidence, who was flown from Nigeria with her mother, Mary, to have surgical repair of a congenital heart defect in a pediatric cardiac center in Austin TX.

Funds were made available by the Association for needy disabled children in Jos, Nigeria to attend a boarding facility for physical rehabilitation. Through our funding, the beneficiaries were able to receive physical therapy, occupational therapy and other much needed medical treatment to improve their conditions.
